Digital Factory v5.3.0

Dear Digital Factory Admin,

The latest version of 5.3.0 of Digital Factory will be out by the 18th of December, 2018. This release will bring in several functional and visual improvements for Digital Factory's OEE Tracker.

Functional Improvements

New Configuration Option for Sensor Counts of a Particular Task

Now you can configure your activities in a way that it considers or skips sensor counts. Tasks that ignore sensor count especially comes in handy over the course of test runs, down time activities etc. For example, during a down time activity where you are sure that you don't have actual products passing in front of the sensor, you can set that activity to skip sensor counts. This option will be available in create and edit task forms. Skipped sensor counts will be excluded from any OEE calculation.

New OEE Column in Work Order View

A new OEE column will be added to the table in Work Order View Dashboard. The values of this column will show OEE values per work order.

Visual Improvements

Improved Home Screen View

  • The size of the activity types buttons at the right side of the screen will dynamically change depending to number of activity types.
  • This will provide a better user of space and a more balanced outlook.

Refreshing Progress Indicator for Line View and Work Order View

There will be a refresh button, which has a refreshing progress indicator on it, on top right corner of the Line View and Work Order View dashboards. All the data on the dashboard will be refreshed and the refreshing time starts from the beginning upon a click to the refresh button. This feature will enable users to have a control on refreshing.

Button for Regulation Filter Effects

  • In reports, filters will not be taking effect immidieatly after they are set.
  • An update button will appear upon a filter a change and data will not be filtered until the update button is clicked.
  • This feature will facilitate the usage of multiple filters together.
  • It will be available for all the reports except Work Order Performance and Daily Performance
